Hackett : Answerthink Announces "Go Live" at Cambrex Corporation On SAP® ERP and LabWare LIMS 6.0 Integration Through Integrated Web Services

MIAMI, June 7, 2016 - Answerthink, a division of The Hackett Group, Inc.. (NASDAQ: HCKT) and a premier developer, provider and supporter of solutions based on SAP® software, today announced the successful implementation of a laboratory information management system (LIMS) solution at Cambrex Corporation's Sweden facility.

Answerthink, in partnership with an implementation partner of LabWare, has successfully delivered a new interface to Cambrex, a global active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturer, to support full integration between the SAP ERP application and their LIMS. The interface connector (QM-IDI), once activated in business functions, enables bi-directional passing of data between SAP ERP and the LIMS. The interface connector reflects SAP's work with the leading LIMS software providers to develop web services that improve the connection and processing time, and reduce customer development times often found in building complex interfaces. The new toolset leverages the SAP NetWeaver® technology platform with Enterprise Services Oriented Architecture (ESOA).

The activation of web services on both sides enables clean import and export of data sets between clients. Some of the data sets supported are customer, vendor, material, inspection lot and batch history.
