CHANGE IN DIRECTOR'S INFORMATION
Professor Richard WONG Yue Chim (Professor Richard WONG), an Independent Non- Executive Director of The Link Management Limited (being the manager (the Manager) of The Link Real Estate Investment Trust (The Link)), informed the Manager that he had resigned as a director of Hong Kong Mercantile Exchange Limited (HKMEx) effective from 23 May 2013. Professor Richard WONG also informed the Manager that it has recently come to his notice the Order for Winding up by the Court (Court Order) granted against HKMEx by the High Court of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (albeit filed with the High Court on 18 July 2014) was dated 28 April 2014. Liquidators were appointed on 28 August 2014. Accordingly, the Court Order was granted against HKMEx within 12 months after Professor Richard WONG ceasing to act as its director.
Based on information publicly available, HKMEx was incorporated in Hong Kong as a private company limited by shares, and was authorised by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) to provide automated trading services in Hong Kong until such authorisation was withdrawn by the SFC on 17 May 2013.
The Manager and The Link do not have any interest in, and are not in any way related to or connected with HKMEx. Other than the information set out herein, the Manager has no information on the abovementioned matter. This announcement is made pursuant to Rules
13.51(2)(l) and 13.51B(2) of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock
Exchange of Hong Kong Limited as if such provisions were applicable to The Link.
