After challenging Cincinnati Reds fans to submit their messiest custom topping suggestions for hot dogs, nachos, ice cream and soft pretzels, Bounty and the Cincinnati Reds are proud to announce that they have found a new fan-created stadium treat. The winning concoction, titled “The Messy Natti,” was submitted by Cory V. of Columbus, OH and featured a grilled hot dog on a bun topped with Mr. Red’s Pulled Pork, Nacho Cheese, Jalapeno Peppers and crumbled bacon.

This is not the first time the quicker picker upper has partnered with the Cincinnati Reds. For the second season in a row, Bounty has supported the “Bounty Clean Crew” at Great American Ball Park. All season this cleaning team has been armed with Bounty to help clean up every Reds home game, allowing fans at Great American Ball Park to enjoy their favorite ballpark meal without worrying about the mess.

“I want to thank Bounty for working with us to source a fan conceptualized dish,” said James Major, Executive Chef of Great American Ball Park. “San Francisco has their signature garlic fries and Los Angeles is known for their team’s classic dogs; it was definitely time to see what our Reds fans want served up.”

Bounty, a proud partner and official paper towel of the Cincinnati Reds, hosted the challenge to discover the most over the top, messiest treat for Great American Ball Park. On September 28, 2014, Reds’ Fan Appreciation Day, during the game vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates, the #RedsFoodPromo Contest winning dish will be available at Mr. Red’s Smokehouse on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last.

“Competition was tough, the judges had their hands full with these creative options,” explained Victoria Schooler, Bounty Communications Manager, “But they did not have to worry about the cleanup, as Bounty, the quicker picker upper, is strong and absorbent enough to tackle any ball park mess.”

From July 28, 2014 to August 8, 2014 Reds fans within the Cincinnati area were given the opportunity to submit their topping suggestions for hot dogs, nachos, ice cream and soft pretzels. By following the @Bounty Tweet’s direction, Reds fans entered for a chance to be one of the finalists to compete in the Official Bounty Ball Park Food Contest. Top submissions were judged by local Cincinnati media and food bloggers at a public event at Crosley Terrace Patio on Saturday, August 23rd before the Reds game vs. the Atlanta Braves.

And now a new generation of stars have emerged by winning Central Division championships in 2010 and 2012. Much of the credit for the Reds’ success has been dependent on the support of the fans and their passion for the game.
