United Rusal : UC RUSAL announces new sales appointment

Moscow, 24 May 2016 - UC RUSAL (SEHK: 486; Euronext: RUSAL/RUAL; Moscow Exchange: RUAL/RUALR), a leading global aluminium producer, announces the appointment of Scott States as President, RUSAL America Corporation.

Scott States joins RUSAL from Century Aluminum Company where he was Vice President of Procurement and Logistics. As President of RUSAL America Corporation, Scott will be responsible for leading and developing the Company's American sales portfolio, reporting directly to Steve Hodgson, RUSAL's Sales & Marketing Director. Scott will replace Sergey Bubnov, who has successfully lead the Company's sales activities in America over the last eight years. Sergey will remain engaged in a senior sales role within RUSAL America.

Biography
Scott States has more than 20 years' experience in senior sales/purchasing and transportation/logistics roles with international commodity companies. Since 2005, he has worked as Vice President of Procurement and Logistics of Century Aluminum. From 1993 to 2004 Scott worked for Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corporation as a Vice President, Commodity Sales& Marketing and prior 2002 as Director of Transportation and Logistic. Scott holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA).
