The four 20-second clips illustrate major Valeo innovations, including parking assistance, lighting systems, air conditioning systems and superchargers to boost small engine performance. In creating these clips, the Group opted for a humorous approach that highlights an essential part of its DNA: innovation.

As a key partner to all carmakers around the world, Valeo is deeply involved in inventing the car of tomorrow. The Group's strategic positioning is based on an innovative, responsible vision of automobiles. Most of its research and development programs are focused on the design of technologies that reduce motor vehicle carbon emissions and promote intuitive driving.

Valeo devotes more than 10% of its original equipment sales to innovation and has nearly 10,000 researchers in 16 research centers and 35 development centers worldwide.

In 2013, for the second consecutive year, Valeo was featured in Thomson Reuters' Top 100 Global Innovators ranking, reflecting the Group's commitment to innovation.

The social media campaign produced by David Freymond for L'Ogre Productions ties in with the Valeo Innovation Challenge (valeoinnovationchallenge.valeo.com), a global contest open to engineering students around the world. Participants are invited to play an active role in automobile innovation by designing the product or system that will create smarter, more intuitive cars by 2030.Nearly 1,000 teams from 55 countries signed up for a chance to propose and develop bold, ground-breaking solutions for the automobiles that will be on the road in 2030. The winning team, to be selected on Friday, October 17, 2014, will take home a €100,000 prize and the second and third-place teams will receive €10,000 each.
