16 October 2017 - Projects update and handover - France

Campus Agro, a project company created by AgroParisTech, Inra and the Caisse des Dépôts, signed a contract on 2 October 2017 with the joint venture led by VINCI Construction France and Engie Cofely for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the future Paris region campus of AgroParisTech and Inra.

Creation of the new Paris region campus of AgroParisTech and Inra

AgroParisTech and some of Inra's research laboratories will bring together their activities in the Paris region on a new, 65,000 sq. metre campus in the commune of Palaiseau, in the heart of the Plateau de Saclay in the Essonne department. It will be located close to the future Palaiseau station on Line 18 of the Grand Paris Express. Designed by architects Marc Mimram and Jean Baptiste Lacoudre, this campus will be composed of eight distinct buildings - an entrance building, five administrative and teaching buildings and two buildings reserved for laboratories - sited around a 2-hectare park. The project is being implemented within the framework of a 30-year global design-construction-operation-maintenance and services contract.
