Vinci SA confirmed its forecasts for the year after first-quarter revenue increased on a strong performance in France and abroad.

The French construction and infrastructure company on Thursday said revenue for the period rose 4.8% on year to 15.73 billion euros ($16.83 billion). On a like-for-like basis, revenue was up 4.2%.

Vinci's order intake climbed to EUR18.5 billion from EUR15.5 billion, while its order book jumped 11% to an all-time high of EUR66.7 billion at the end of March.

In France, revenue rose 4.1% to EUR7.1 billion. Revenue outside of France rose 5.4% to EUR8.7 billion.

For the year, Vinci forecasts an increase in overall revenue, although growth is likely to be more limited than in 2023, it said. Earning are also expected to rise, while net income could be close to 2023 levels, it said.
