VOXXHirschmann Announces the Appointment of Aron Demers to Senior Vice President, Automotive Aftermarket Sales


Hauppauge, NY, March 3, 2016 - VOXXHirschmann Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of VOXX International Corporation (NASDAQ: VOXX) today announced the appointment of Aron Demers to Senior Vice President, Automotive Aftermarket Sales effective immediately.


Demers was previously Vice President, Mobile Electronics with VOXX Electronics Corporation and now joins VOXXHirschmann, working from the Company's new Orlando, FL manufacturing facility. In this

new role, he will have complete responsibility for 12-Volt aftermarket sales and product development. He will also be responsible for financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and inventory management of the Aftermarket group. He will oversee all aftermarket sales-related activities for the Advent, Audiovox, Code-Alarm, Invision, Movies-2-Go, Omega, Prestige and Pursuit brands, as well as the continued distribution of SXM Satellite Radio products.

Over his 21-year career with VOXX, he's excelled in every position and brought added value whether to the distribution channel or a new product launch. He'll be responsible for all of our 12-Volt aftermarket business."


Demers joins the management team of Ludwig Geis, President; Edward Mas, Exec. VP; and Michael Schroeder, Sr. VP, OEM New Business Development who as VOXX/Hirschmann, have established that company as a significant supplier to the OE market. Demers will be working closely with the OEM teams to leverage synergies and further expand the Company's reach in the aftermarket.


Mr. Demers began his career at VOXX in 1995 as the Western Regional Retail Sales Manager for VOXX Electronics Corporation and has held the position of Vice President Sales since 1997. He was instrumental in the launch of the Mobile Video group, one of the most successful in the 12-Volt category. Demers also enjoys strong relationships with the Company's 12-Volt distribution including, its distributor, car dealer and independent retailer forces. Mr. Demers is active in the Consumer Electronics Industry supporting groups including CTA, MESA and MERA.
