The new generation of the articulated joint roller RD27 is available in two versions.

The new asphalt roller RD27 from Wacker Neuson has additional user advantages such as the detailed control panel for a quick overview of all functions as well as a multi-function lever for controlling the vibration options and the water supply with one hand. The compact design without a lateral overhang provides for more flexibility in use, which also makes work in the edge regions possible.

The extreme maneuverability of the new articulated joint roller RD27 from Wacker Neuson with a turning radius of 3.6 meters makes work easier for the operator and provides for efficient use, since the roller can also be moved very flexibly in limited space. The compact dimensions of 2.5 meters long and only one meter wide and the design without the lateral overhang contribute to this. Another advantage of the roller: It offers the possibility to switch between a low and high compaction force. The low centrifugal force is optimal for asphalt compaction while the high level is ideal for the compaction of granular materials. The contractor therefore only requires one machine for the compaction of various subsoils and opens up a wide range of application possibilities with the roller RD27.

An improved all-round visibility that is achieved through the modified shape of the hood and the high seating provides for more safety on the job site. The integrated roll-over protective structure (ROPS) protects the operator. If necessary, it can be folded forward or backward so that the user, for example, can also work under eaves. In addition, the foldable roll-over protective structure makes transporting the machine easier for the contractor. The robustness of the roller, which is achieved through a sturdy operator's platform and a water tank made of metal, provides another advantage for the machine owner. The new vibration damped driver's cabin in combination with the ergonomic seat provides for greater comfort and fatigue-free working. The new multi-function lever with which the user controls all vibration options and the water supply with one hand is particularly user-friendly

The vibratory roller RD27 is available in two versions. The base variant has the forward and backward folding roll-over protective structure and the ergonomic driver's seat. The second version additionally offers a central lifting point for the simple transfer of the roller, a left-sided armrest, drum-edge lighting, and a fold-down scraper bar, as well as an optional automatic vibration connection and water cut-off.
