Led by Chen Jinghe ，the Chairman, the international team of Zijin Mining Group attended the 2014 Annual International Mining Conference held in Toronto, Canada between March1-5. About 27,000 representatives from governments, mining companies, financial institutions, equipment providers and mining services from more than 100 countries and regions attended the conference.

At the conference, Zijin delegation held constructive talks with chairmen and CEOs from 19 large and medium sized international mining companies including Barrick Gold Corporation, etc. ，and discussed on cooperation with some gold or copper producers who have high-quality，large-sized resources and projects under development or in production. Chairman Chen also shared his view on the trend of international mining industry respectively with Mr. Ranall Oliphant, the Chairman of World Gold Association, Mr. Eric Sprott and Mr. Peter Grosskopf, the chairman and CEO of Sprott Mining Fund，which is the partner of Sprott-Zijin Mining Fund.

During his visit in Toronto, Mr. Chen also made a speech in Toronto University at its invitation. Professors and students were very impressed by the myth of Zijin. Mr. Chen also met with Professor Steven Scott, a Canadian Academician and famous expert in mineral deposits, and other professors from the Earth Science Institute, discussed about academic exchanges and students exchanges between Zijin Mining, Zijin Mining College and TU. Mr. Chen invited students of Geology Department to attend the Mineral Deposit Training Program held by Zijin Mining and visit Zijinshan Gold and Copper Mine later this year.

Mr. Yang Kaihui, Vice President of Zijin, Mr. Liu Yikang, Consultant of Zijin, Mr. Chen Dianmin, CEO of Norton Gold Fields, Ms. Yang Yifang, General Manager of Zijin Hongkong International Company Ltd. and Mr. Zheng Yongxiang, General Manager of Sprott-Zijin Mining Fund also attended the conference.
