Mr. Allen R.
Cantrell, CFA MBA, is Managing Director of Alternative Investments at MEMBERS Capital Advisors, Inc. He also works as portfolio manager of the firm.
He joined in 2007 and has over 30 years of experience in the insurance investment industry.
Prior to joining MEMBERS Capital Advisors, Mr. Cantrell was vice president, Private Placements for AEGON USA Investment Management Company.
Prior to joining AEGON USA, he was vice president of Structured Securities/Private Placements for Citigroup Insurance Investments, responsible for investing in private placements, energy related private equity, and leveraged bank loans.
He graduated from DePauw University with majors in Mathematics and Religion.
He received an MBA from the University of Chicago in 1986 with concentrations in finance and statistics.
Al is a CFA charter holder as well as a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.
