Carla Norfleet Taylor

Ms. Carla Norfleet Taylor, CFA MBA, is a Senior Director at Fitch Ratings, Inc. Her responsibilities include corporate credit analysis for high-yield and investment grade companies in the restaurant, grocery retail, and food industries.
In addition to publishing issuer-specific research and topical commentaries, she leads and contributes to cross-sectional and global research publications with past topics including activist investors, the affordable care act, and global protein.
Carla regularly interviews and actively mentors junior analysts for the corporate finance team.
Prior to joining Fitch in March 2004, Ms. Norfleet Taylor spent four years as Vice President of Equity Research for The Kenwood Group (acquired by Profit Investment Management in January 2006).
At Kenwood she recommended and monitored a diversified portfolio of mid-cap value consumer, financial, and healthcare stocks.
she began her investment career at the Northern Trust Corporation where she earned two title level promotions over a seven-year period.
While at Northern, she worked in Northern Trust Global Investments as an International Equity Analyst with an emphasis on large-cap growth consumer, media and telecommunications companies in Latin America and as a Product Manager for enhanced cash and structured investment products.
She earned a BA in Professional Options with an emphasis in Economics from The University of Chicago in 1992.
Carla subsequently, completed an M.B.A.
in finance and organizational behavior from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 1993.
She earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2000.
She is a member of the CFA Society of Chicago.
