La Caixa Gestión de Activos SGIIC SA (LCGA) was the fund management arm of La Caixa Group, also known as Caja de Ahorros y Pensiones de Barcelona, a leading pension and savings bank in Catalonia. LCGA was founded in 1987 as AB Asesores, and became Morgan Stanley Gestion when the firm became part of Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) in 1999. In 2008 the firm was acquired by La Caixa. Subsequently LCGA's fund management activity was taken over by InverCaixa Gestión SGIIC.
