After commencing his career in 1999 with Old Mutual Securities Charlie joined the corporate broking department of Williams de Broe (now Investec), before leaving to establish the equity sales franchise of Ambrian Partners in 2004.
While at Ambrian he participated in a significant growth of the franchise, built on its strength in the mining sector.
In 2010 he left Ambrian Partners upon the sale of the business to RFC and joined Liberum Capital before joining GMP Securities Europe LLP as Head of Equity Sales in 2012.
