Mr. Chris Butler is an Investment Manager at Martin Currie Investment Management Ltd.

A specialist in basic materials, he has combined research with portfolio management roles across a range of markets including continental Europe, the UK, emerging markets and North America.
Having led the materials research since the creation of our sector team in 2001, he was appointed head of sector research in 2005, a role he held until 2011, when he decided to devote more time to analysis and portfolio management within the global resources sector.
