Colleen Gembecki

Ms. Colleen Gembecki is a Managing Director at West Broadway Interactive Capital LLC.
Prior to joining Spring Street Partners in September 2008, Ms. Gembecki spent twenty two years at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., where she was a Senior Managing Director on the Strategic Structuring and Transactions Equity Trading Desk.
She began her career in Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc.’s Treasurer’s Department, gaining in-depth experience in the areas of Funding, Equity and Options Trading, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Prime Brokerage and Operations.
In 1991, Ms. Gembecki became Vice President of the SST Trading Desk, responsible for proprietary DSPP investments and developing and executing trading strategies.
By 1993, her responsibilities included managing investment decisions and risk control.
She was promoted to Associate Director in 1994, and to Managing Director in 1996.
By 1997, Ms. Gembecki’s structured trading programs had grown to several billion dollars in size and her DSPP role expanded as she worked with companies to build and enhance the product’s abilities.
In 1999, she was awarded the title of Senior Managing Director, hired a team to manage the trading programs and spent the next 9 years dedicated to the DSPP product.
She is most recognized by her work with Utilities, Banks and Real Estate Investment Trusts.
She left to JP Morgan in August 2008, after successfully integrating Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc.’s SST Trading Desk with JP Morgan’s Equity Division.
Ms. Gembecki supports medical research programs such as The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, as well as children’s programs, such as Manhattan Youth and The Fresh Air Fund.
She lives in Lower Manhattan with her two daughters.
