Dan Andrews

Dan Andrews is a Principal at Gemspring Capital and focuses on structured investment opportunities.
Dan brings over a decade of investing experience across various strategies in both public and private credit markets.
Prior to joining Gemspring, Dan was at Moab Partners, a value-oriented hedge fund, where he focused on special situations and event-driven investment opportunities.
During his time at Moab, Dan invested in a wide array of credit products and focused on structured direct lending financings.
Earlier in his career, Dan was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley Credit Partners, a $1 billion credit opportunities fund within the Merchant Banking Division of Morgan Stanley.
Dan was part of a team responsible for investing both outside investor funds and Morgan Stanley capital, focusing on complex direct lending situations and stressed liquid credit opportunities.
Dan began his career in the investment banking group of Robinson Humphrey and also spent time at MCG Capital, a publicly traded private equity and debt investment firm where he executed middle market investments across the capital structure and served as a portfolio company board director.
Dan received a BS in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
