At Barclays Global Investors (BGI) he advanced quickly to senior portfolio manager, principal and team leader.
During his tenure at BGI he managed virtually every fund within the index PM group...
from small cap value to large cap growth and everything in between.
In April of 2004 Mr. Hoyt was recruited to the internal equities group of the California State Teachers Retirement System (CalSTRS) where he manages a Russell 1000 x tobacco fund.
Mr. Hoyt received his BS in Agricultural and Managerial Economics and his MBA in Finance from the University of California-Davis.
