Ms. Ella I.
Brown, CFA MBA, is Head of Fundamental Equities at AMP Capital Investors Ltd.
She joined AMP Capital as Head of Fundamental Equities in August 2011.
Her role focuses on improving investment outcomes for our clients and strengthening our research and portfolio construction capabilities.
She brings more than 22 years of experience in the investment management industry via roles in equity strategy and management, portfolio management and research.
Prior to joining AMP Capital, Ms. Brown was a non-executive investment adviser to both the Royal College of Physicians and Royal Medical Foundation in London.
Previously she had been Global Head of Equity Research at ABN AMRO Asset Management in London from 2006 to 2008.
During this time Ms. Brown took a lead role in the integration of the investment teams after Fortis Investments acquired ABN AMRO Asset Management in October 2007.
Her prior experience includes five years as Head of European Equity Research at Credit Suisse Asset Management, eight years with JP Morgan Investments in London, the last six years as European Portfolio Manager as well as roles with Ameritech Pension Fund and Richardson Greenshields of Canada.
Ms. Brown holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Manitoba and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago.
