PD Dr. Wildhaber joined BioMedPartners in January 2007.
Previously, she was a Managing Director for the Novartis Venture Fund where she served on the boards of Athelas, NanoPowers, CellnTec and Oncalis.
She has more than 19 years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D and business development.
In Novartis, she was Head of Immunology Project Management, Immunology Research, Oncology Business Development and Licensing as well as a member of the Corporate Mergers and Acquisition team.
Prior to joining Novartis, Dr. Wildhaber performed postdoctoral research on tumor virology (FMI-Basel), membrane proteins and lipids (ETH-Zurich) and monoclonal antibodies and crystallisation of bacterial photosynthetic proteins (MPI-Munich).
Her qualifications include a Biochemistry B.Sc.
(UK), Ph.D (performed at Max Planck Institute for Immunology, Freiburg) and PD (Privatdozentin) from the ETH-Zurich.
