Mr. Howard Kearns is Head of Liability Driven Investment at State Street Global Advisors Ltd.
Prior to joining SSgA in December 2012, he worked for a number of investment banks, including Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse, where he was responsible for structuring derivative and insurance solutions for UK pension schemes.
At Goldman Sachs, he was a founding member of the Rothesay Life team.
Mr. Kearns started his career at Watson Wyatt in 1997 and qualified as an actuary in 2001.
He has also served as an in-house advisor to the British Telecom pension scheme.
Mr. Kearns has a BSc and MPhil in Mathematics from the University of Manchester and an MSc in Financial Mathematics from the University of Edinburgh.
