Prior to founding Draper Triangle in 1999, Mr. Katarincic served as Vice President-Corporate Development and General Counsel of J.
Edward Connelly Associates, Inc. Previously, he was an Associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group in the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
Mr. Katarincic serves on the board of directors of several privately held corporations including: Carnegie Learning, Inc., Wisdom Technologies, iKnowthat.com, Inc. and BodyMedia, Inc. He also serves on the board of trustees of the Pittsburgh Technology Council, Shady Side Academy, the Institute for Learning Abilities and the Holy Family Foundation.
He is a regular speaker and guest lecturer in both western Pennsylvania and across the nation on the subject of early stage venture investing.
He is frequently quoted in a number of national and local publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Red Herring and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Mr. Katarincic received his BA in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross in 1987 and graduated from the JD/MSIA joint degree program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and the Carnegie Mellon University Graduate School of Industrial Administration in 1991.
