Jean-Luc Buchalet

Mr. Jean-Luc Buchalet is Founder, Economist & Strategist at PrimeView SAS and Founder & Chief Executive Officer at Pythagore Consult SA. He started as a financial analyst and then a portfolio manager at Indosuez.
In 1995, he became head of French equities and was appointed to the division's executive committee.
In 1997, he left Indosuez to become Director of Strategy at JCF Group, then at FactSet.
He established Pythagore Investissement in 2005, and remains Chairman of this equity fund manager.
In 2009, he founded PrimeView with Pierre Sabatier.
He teaches at Assas university, at the Conservatoire National des Arts & Metiers, at AgroParisTech and at the Institut d'Administration d'Entreprise in Paris.
Mr. Buchalet is an agronomist with degrees from AgroParisTech and ESSEC.
He is co-author of a book on the French derivatives exchange.
