Prior to joining The Swank Group, Mr. LaFayette operated his own Independent Broker Futures clearing firm.
He was also a Vice President and the Southwest Regional Manager of commodity futures for Merrill Lynch, where he developed a commodity based inventory-financing product.
He has extensive experience in commodity based trading, risk management and portfolio analysis.
Mr. Lafayette received his BA from Central College in 1984.
He also holds the NASD series 3, series 7, series 30 and series 63 securities licenses.
