Jennifer L. Stier

Ms. Jennifer L.
Stier, CPA, is a President at HighSage Ventures LLC.
Ms. Stier was a Managing Director and the Chief Operating Officer of Highfields Capital Management from 2004 until 2021, when it returned all remaining capital to investors.
Prior to joining Highfields, she spent over 15 years in the fund administration business.
She co-founded the U.S.
affiliate of hedge fund administrator Hemisphere, and when it was subsequently acquired by BISYS, she became Co-President of BISYS Fund Services globally.
Prior to Hemisphere, she was Director of Taxation at Investors Bank & Trust Company.
She started her career at Pricewaterhouse in the Financial Services Industry Practice, where she specialized in investment companies and partnership taxation.
Ms. Stier is a founding member of OneGoal Massachusetts, an organization focused on ensuring that every young person has an equitable opportunity to achieve their greatest postsecondary aspirations, and former Chair of its Greater Boston Regional Board of Directors.
She is also a former trustee of The Fessenden School, where she sat on the Audit Committee, served as Treasurer of the Board and Chair of the Finance Committee, and was a member of the Executive Committee.
She is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Managed Funds Association and of State Street’s Hedge Fund Client Advisory Council.
Ms. Stier is currently a member of the Belmont Hill Corporation and serves on the Endowment Board of Trustees for Temple Beth Elohim.
She received her CPA license in 1989 and a B.S.
in Business Administration and Accounting from Bucknell University.
