Mr. Walther joined Church Capital Management in 1992.
He has a corporate finance background from a major Wall Street investment bank.
As a professional in the Financial Institutions Group at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., Mr. Walther performed sophisticated quantitative analyses of financial institutions including banks, savings and loan institutions, leasing companies and insurance companies.
He also participated in a wide array of securities and corporate transactions.
These included the issuance of over $1 billion in debt securities and over $1 billion in equity securities, corporate financial restructurings, private placements and mergers and acquisitions in the financial institutions industry.
Mr. Walther received his BA in History with a concentration in Economics and Business from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota.
He serves on the Board of Trustees of Mercer Street Friends, a non-profit organization located in Trenton, New Jersey.
He formerly served on the Board of Directors of Forstmann & Company, Inc. in New York and was a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of BMJ Financial Corp., the holding company for Bank of Mid-Jersey.
