Grabovac, CFA MBA, is a Vice President & Municipal Bond Investment Strategist at Loomis, Sayles & Co. LP.
He serves as the primary liasion between the municipal fixed income portfolio management team and the firm’s technology and investment risk management departments.
He has over 40 years of investment industry experience.
Mr. Grabovac joined Loomis Sayles in 2019 as part of the firm’s acquisition of McDonnell Investment Management, where he had served as managing director and investment strategist.
In this role, he was responsible for executing tax-exempt and crossover investment strategies for the company’s client portfolios.
Previously, he was an independent futures trader, and managed tax-exempt mutual funds at INVESCO Funds Group in Denver.
Prior to this, Mr. Grabovac managed a high yield municipal bond fund at Stein Roe & Farnham.
In addition to managing mutual funds, he has also worked extensively with insurance company clients.
Mr. Grabovac earned a BA in Economics from Lawrence University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan.
He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago.
