Joel has led or been part of the executive team for four tech companies that completed IPOs and achieved market caps in excess of $1 billion.
His core competencies are in strategy, product and market positioning, and leading the design and execution of demand generation programs.
Most recently, he helped reposition Everbridge (EVBG) from a single-product point solution to a new enterprise SaaS category, Critical Event Management, and built and scaled the demand gen engine to exceed sales quotas by 4x.
Everbridge sells to companies (with particular focus on the Fortune 1000/Global 2000), governments and healthcare organizations.
Joel previously ran Marketing, Product Management and Global Partnerships for Endurance International (EIGI), which provides internet business solutions to over 4 million SMBs.
Earlier in his career, he was the CEO of Navisite, an internet managed services provider, as it grew from $10 million to $120 million in revenue, and ran Marketing and several lines of business for Aspen Technology (AZPN) as it grew from $6 million to $250 million in revenues.
He has also worked in venture capital at CRV and in strategy consulting at Bain.
Joel holds a BA from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
