John T. Devine

Mr. John T.
Devine, CPA, is Chairman at GenSpring Family Offices.
He has more than 27 years of experience providing comprehensive wealth management services to high-net worth families, particularly in the areas of investment planning, estate planning, income tax planning, and succession planning.
He is responsible for supervising all family relationships of the firm for the Mid-Atlantic, and for maintaining the high-quality service and support to which our families have become accustomed.
Prior to GenSpring, Mr. Devine was a senior manager in Arthur Andersen’s Family Wealth Planning Practice.
As part of this practice he was involved in the Family Business Forum at American University.
He also served on the board at Deutsche Bank Alex.
Brown, Inc. He has served on the Board of the National Kidney Foundation of the Capital Area since 2003 and has held the position of Treasurer, Chairman Elect, and Chairman.
He also serves on the Board of George Mason Intellectual Property.
Mr. Devine graduated with high honors from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Master of Accounting degree with a specialization in Tax.
