Kearney joined HealthQuest in 2023 as a Partner focused on the Tactical Opportunities Fund.
Kearney has been an investor in the private equity industry for over 16 years.
Kearney’s investment career has covered a broad set of healthcare subsectors including software, tech-enabled service and service businesses across provider, pharma/life sciences, payor, pharmacy and supply chain.
Prior to HealthQuest, Kearney worked at Thomas H.
Lee Partners, a growth-focused private equity firm with over $12 billion of active committed capital where he started and led THL’s efforts within healthcare automation.
Prior to THL, Kearney worked at Solamere Capital, a $2 billion private equity firm, where he focused on investments in majority and minority recapitalizations of founder and family-owned businesses.
Kearney began his investment career at Fisher Lynch Capital and Cambridge Associates.
Kearney received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Colby College and his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University with a concentration in Health Enterprise Management, Finance and Strategy.
When not in the office, Kearney enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, playing golf, fishing and skiing.
Kearney is incoming member of the Board of Trustees of The Meadowbrook School of Weston and is a Corporate Trustee of The Trustees of Reservations.
