Maria da Conceição Rodrigues Leal

Ms. Maria da Conceição Leal is a Director and Member of the Executive Committee at Banif Capital SCR SA. Ms. Conceição has a degree in business and administration and has worked in banking and management of both private and public companies.
She worked for Banco de Portugal from 1982 to 1989.
In 1989 she joined the founding team of Banco Exterior de España as a Risk Manager and later headed the Corporate Banking Department and was appointed representative of Argentaria in Portugal.
In 1993 she joined Grupo Lusomundo, where she was responsible for the financial area of audiovisuals.
In 1996 she returned to banking at Banif Comercial, as a Director of Capital Markets.
In 2000, she joined the Board of Directors of RTP as Vice-Chairperson, Chairperson of RTC and Director of Portugal Global, RDP and Sport TV.
In late 2002, she was appointed Director of Grupo Portugal Telecom, where she worked at PT Internacional and Previsão pension fund.
She returned to banking again in 2006, as Director of Banif Investment Bank, in charge of Corporate Clients and SMCs.
