Martin Buchalter

With over 20 years experience in the finance industry, Martin Buchalter has held positions of responsibility in firms in both South Africa and the UK.
As Chief Financial Officer of Vuwa, he adds his considerable knowledge and financial acumen to Vuwa’s valuable intellectual resources.
He oversees the group’s accounting and tax function, while performing the role of providing operational support to investee companies, where his involvement continues to contribute to the ongoing success of our investments.
He also works closely with Corporate Finance and Directors on investment transactions.
He acts on behalf of Vuwa on the board of Matlasana medical health Services, Mr Price Mozambique and Space Securitisation.
Martin’s former positions include Head of Property Finance at Strutt & Parker (UK), Analyst at KPMG Transaction Services UK (Private Equity team), Finance Manager at Crystal Clear.
He completed articles at Arthur Andersen and KPMG.
