Matt Cobbold

As a Strategic Growth Manager within the Value Enhancement team, I help management teams across the buyout and impact portfolios to identify, prioritise and execute on value driving initiatives across the deal period.
I started my career as a maths teacher with Teach First before moving to London joining PwC as a strategy consultant in its Strategy& Deals team.
I then moved into a corporate and commercial development role at OneWeb, a start-up low-earth-orbit satellite operator prior joining Palatine.
When I’m not at work I love to go to live music events and the theatre.
I’ve played the violin for most of my life and get a kick out of playing big orchestral symphonies.
I like to keep in shape with strength training and I’m relearning how to play tennis.
When it’s possible I’ve got a taste for adventure and I love to get out into the world, whether it’s trekking in the Himalayas or searching for weird and wonderful marine life under the sea.
