Nina Labatt

Profile
Nina serves as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for S32 where she is focused on establishing world-class finance and operations systems and processes, and building and leading best practices for the management of the firm.
Previously, Nina served as COO and General Partner for Trinity Ventures where she managed firm operations and strategic projects, spanning finance, marketing, data science and operations/administration.
Having worked in the venture capital and private equity sector since 2001, Nina is a recognized industry expert on back office operations.
Over the last 20 years, she has held CFO and operational roles at other firms; was Chairman of the Board of the VCBC, the largest industry association of venture capital finance professionals; and was a Managing Director at Silicon Valley Bank in the largest practice serving this sector.
Prior to that, Nina held CFO and management positions in operating companies after beginning her career as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs in New York and Montgomery Securities in San Francisco.
Nina holds an M.B.A.
from Harvard Business School, an M.A.
in International Policy Studies from Stanford University, and a B.A.
in Economics with Honors also from Stanford University.
