Metsäliitto Osuuskunta engages in the utilization and provision of wood supply, forest services, and wood products. It operates through the following segments: Wood Supply and Forest Services, Wood Products Industry, Pulp and Sawn Timber Industry, Paperboard Industry, Tissue and Greaseproof Papers. The Wood Supply and Forest Services segment provides premium wood as well as services in the wood trade and forest management. The Wood Products Industry segment produces plywood and wood products for the construction and transport industries. The Pulp and Sawn Timber Industry segment manufactures bioproducts, bioenergy, and sawn timber. The Paperboard Industry segment supplies fresh fiber paperboards, folding boxboards, food service boards, and white kraftliners. The Tissue and Greaseproof Papers segment produces tissue paper products to households and suppliers. The company was founded in 1934 and is headquartered in Espoo, Finland.
