He is also an Independent Non-Executive Director at Seylan Developments Plc and the Head-Overseas Operations at ECO Power Holdings Ltd.
Additionally, he is a Member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors and The Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka.
Formerly, Mr. Hennayake served as the Chief Executive Officer & Director at Sithma Development Pvt Ltd.
He was also the Deputy General Manager-Services at Hatton National Bank Plc from 2006 to 2015.
From 2016 to 2018, he worked as the Deputy General Manager-Project Finance at Seylan Bank Plc.
He was the Portfolio Manager at Lanka Ventures Plc from 1992 to 1995.
Mr. Hennayake also held the position of President at the Association of Professional Bankers - Sri Lanka in 2014 and 2015.
He served as the Vice President of The Organization of Professional Associations of Sri Lanka from 2015 to 2016.
Mr. Hennayake holds an MBA from the Asian Institute of Technology, which he received in 1992.
He also has an undergraduate degree from the University of Moratuwa.
