The firm was founded as the result of the merger between The Bank of New York Company, Inc. and Mellon Financial Corporation in 2007. BNY Mellon is the umbrella organization for BNY Mellon's affiliated investment management firms and global distribution companies. JPMorgan Investment Management, Inc. (JPMIM) is a global, SEC-registered investment advisor headquartered in New York City. The firm was founded in 2000 as the result of Chase Manhattan's purchase of Robert Fleming Holdings and the subsequent merger of Chase and JPMorgan.
