Thushantha Wijemanna

Thushantha Wijemanna is currently serving as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Swadeshi Industrial Works Plc and SANASA Development Bank Plc.
He is also a Director at Swadeshi Marketing Pvt Ltd., Swadeshi Chemicals Pvt Ltd., Ceylon Plastics Ltd., Payment Services Pvt Ltd., and a Council Member at The Open University of Sri Lanka.
Additionally, he is a Member-Management Board at LKIIRSS.
In his former roles, Mr. Wijemanna served as the Chairman of the National Institute of Business Management and the Association of Corporate Lawyers Sri Lanka.
He also held the position of Director General-Arbitration Council at The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation.
From 1995 to 2012, he worked as the Secretary & General Counsel at DFCC Bank PLC.
He also served as the Company Secretary & Chief Legal Officer at Sampath Bank Plc and as a Commissioner at the Law Commission of Sri Lanka.
Mr. Wijemanna completed his graduate studies at the University of London and the University of Colombo.
