Watson is Investment Director at Aberdeen Asset Managers Ltd.
She was previously employed as Investment Director by Scottish Widows Investment Partnership Ltd.
She is an Investment Director on the Global Equities Team responsible for managing real estate funds.
For stock research, she covers the global real estate sector.
Previously, Ms. Watson worked in SWIP’s Property Investment Team where she was the Analyst and Strategist for three direct property funds, and she worked on producing UK and European property market forecasts.
She joined SWIP in May 2006 initially as an Analyst and Strategist on the Real Estate Team.
She was responsible for producing UK and European property market forecasts before moving to the International Equity Team in August 2007.
Before joining SWIP, Ms. Watson was a Property Market Analyst for four years at Henderson Global Investors.
She was responsible for covering office markets in UK, France, Spain, Portugal and Ireland, and all European industrial markets.
In the four years prior to this, she was employed by Healey & Baker (now Cushman & Wakefield) as a Property Research Analyst.
Ms. Watson holds a BA (joint Hons) in Modern Languages from the University of Durham.
She speaks French and Spanish fluently, and holds a certificate in Advanced Business French.
She is a Member of the Investment Property Forum and the Society of Property Researchers.
