Dr. Kassem earned a bachelors degree in electrical engineering from Cairo University, Egypt; a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Ain Shams University, Egypt; a masters degree in mathematics and a doctoral degree in electrical engineering from McMaster University, Canada; and an MBA with honors in finance and economics from the University of Chicago.
