Yang Zhang

Yang Zhang (Beijing) joined KKR Capstone in 2014.
Mr. Zhang has played a significant role in the value creation works of a number of KKR’s portfolio companies, including Qingdao Haier, COFCO Meat, Yuguan Modern Agriculture, and NVC China.
Mr. Zhang is focused on sales and marketing strategy, cost saving, talent recruiting and incentive, and corporate governance.
Prior to joining KKR Capstone, Mr. Zhang was with Fountainvest Partners in Beijing, where he worked as an investment associate focusing on healthcare investments.
Prior to Fountainvest, Mr. Zhang worked for Roland Berger Strategy Consultant in its Beijing office, advising leading FMCG companies and healthcare companies in China.
Prior to Roland Berger, Mr. Zhang worked for J.P.
Morgan Chase Bank, in its Hong Kong office, as a management trainee and sales management specialist.
Mr. Zhang holds a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree from Peking University in China.
