Aberdeen New Thai Investment Trust PLC is a United Kingdom-based investment trust company. The Company's investment objective is to provide shareholders with a high level of long-term, above average capital growth through investment in Thailand. The Company invests in a diversified portfolio of securities (substantially in the form of equities or equity-related securities such as convertible securities and warrants but which may also include debt securities) issued by companies, spread across a range of industries, which are either quoted on the stock exchange of Thailand or that are unquoted and at, or near, initial public offering stage. It invests in various sectors, including energy and utilities, commerce, transportation and logistics, information and communication technology, property development, health care services, property development and property funds and real estate investment trusts (REITS).
