abrdn Total Dynamic Dividend Fund (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund's primary investment objective is to seek high current dividend income. The Fund also focuses on long-term growth of capital as a secondary investment objective. The Fund expects to invest at least 80% of its net assets plus amounts borrowed for investment purposes in the equity securities of domestic and foreign corporations that pay dividends. The Fund seeks to provide dividend income without regard to whether the dividends qualify for the reduced federal income tax rates applicable to qualified dividends.
