On Friday, Accenture announced the acquisition of Openstream Holdings, a Japanese company specializing in digital technologies and data management.

The business process outsourcing giant explains that the transaction will enable it to acquire the company's two subsidiaries, Open Stream on the one hand, and Neutral on the other.

Open Stream, which employs around 600 people, offers consulting and systems integration services to customers in the logistics and distribution sectors, whether in the cloud, AI, the Internet of Things (IoT) or cybersecurity.

Neutral, with its 400 professionals, focuses on the automotive and manufacturing markets, with expertise in production process management and 3D design.

Financial terms of the acquisition have not been made public.
