In choosing recipients, the Haz Foundation evaluates twelve indicators related to transparency, information, and good tax practices.

Acerinox, a global leader in the stainless steel and high-performance alloys market, was one of 13 companies to receive the "2022 T for Transparent Seal" awarded by the Haz Foundation through the evaluation of twelve indicators around responsible tax reporting.

The indicators include cooperation with the Tax Authority, the role of the Board of Directors in the promotion and oversight of good tax practices, the transparent breakdown of taxes paid and owed in different countries, the company's presence in tax havens, and existing litigation with the Tax Authority, among others.

According to Javier Martín Cavanna, founder and director of the Haz Foundation, "these thirteen companies, which we hope will be joined by many more in the future, are leaders in the practice of transparency not only in our country but in the European Union as a whole. There is no other country today with a group of companies that have advanced so much in their tax reporting transparency. And this is an area that will only hold greater weight and importance in the future."
