Amino Technologies plc announced a strengthening of its board and senior leadership team. Two new main board non-executive directors have been appointed bringing additional media and technology experience to the company. Having held senior leadership positions in both Amino and formerly Entone Inc. for 16 years, Steve McKay now joins the main board of the company, stepping down from his current role as Global Head of Sales. He will now provide strategic direction to the company on a consultancy basis. Previously CEO of Entone Inc, which was acquired by Amino in 2015, Steve has been instrumental in the both the successful integration of the two businesses and subsequent sales growth. Following an interim role in 2016 heading up Amino's video delivery platform team and an ongoing consultancy role with the company, Michael Clegg has also been appointed to the board. Michael has a wealth of industry experience spanning a decade in senior roles at global networking company Netgear, Entrisphere, Fujitsu and Westell Technologies. David Perez has been appointed Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing and Joachim Bergman as Senior Vice President of Cloud Services, both joining the Company's executive management team. David, who joined the company in January 2018, has a proven track record in managing and driving global sales teams in the telecoms industry with Reliance Globalcom (now Global Cloud Xchange), where he served as Senior Vice President for North America. Most recently, he was CEO at Intamac Systems. Joachim Bergman joined Amino in September 2017 as Senior Vice President of Cloud Services, taking responsibility for Amino's MOVE platform. Joachim has more than 20 years' experience in the telecoms and media sector, principally at Ericsson where he held a variety of senior roles in video service delivery for major operators. All appointments took effect on 5 February 2018 unless stated otherwise.
