We're growing our brand, enjoying activations, sponsorships and brand building events including; A Night with the Classics, the ISUZU Corporate Triathlon Challenge powered by Algoa FM, IRONMAN, The Outeniqua Chair Challenge, DHL Stormers vs Dragons, Sunrisers Eastern Cape and the Sunshine Tour, Nelson Mandela Bay Championship. The activations, such as Outside Broadcasts and hit mobiles, have consistently experienced remarkable growth.
Laerskool Dr Viljoen in Holland Park, Gqeberha, will soon receive a fresh coat of paint through a partnership between City Paint and Tool and Algoa Cares, the corporate social responsibility arm of Algoa FM.
The Algoa Cares Charity Golf Days were successfully hosted in George and in East London. These events raised R20,000 for the Carpe Diem School in George and an impressive R80,000 for the Guardians of Hope in
East London.
Cedarberg primary School was chosen as the secondary beneficiary by the Department of Sport, Recreation, Art & Culture, receiving sporting equipment worth R50 ,000 for various sporting codes
The 2022 Algoa FM Big Walk for Cancer celebrated its 24th edition. Over the years, Algoa FM has donated more than 2.27 million to cancer charities, supporting patients and survivors. The walk expanded to include East London and the Southern Cape for the first time, while virtual participation was also possible. Key sponsors such as The Eastern Cape Department of Sport, Recreation, Art & Culture, ISUZU Motors South Africa, aQuelle and MTN, resulted in their continued support as well as a new partner, Promato Capsules, contributed to the event's success.
Algoa FM proudly engaged in a media partnership with IRONMAN South Africa, including the thrilling ISUZU Corporate Triathlon Challenge powered by Algoa FM. The partnership with IRONMAN South Africa and the ISUZU Corporate Triathlon challenge underscored Algoa FM's dedication to promoting an active and healthy lifestyle while fostering community engagement and camaraderie
Algoa FM established a valuable media partnership with "A Night with the Classics," a captivating music event held on the 23rd and 24th of April. This partnership allowed us to showcase our commitment to promoting diverse cultural experiences and supporting national and local artistic talents

The Nashua Invitational Golf Day was a fundraising event held at Bloemfontein Golf Club on April 13, 2023.
From January 9th to February 3rd, 2023, Stadium Fast Foods hosted an exciting event in Bloemfontein and Kimberley. Participants had the opportunity to win
a special office lunch treat for themselves and their colleagues, worth up to R1000.
The Surrender Hill Marathon, held on March 4, 2023, in Clarens, Eastern Free State, was a highly anticipated event. Participants had the option to choose from various race distances, including the 42.2km, 21.1km and 10km races, with a 5km fun run also available. The marathon served as an official qualifier for prestigious races such as the Two Oceans and Comrades.
Central South Africa was buzzing with excitement as we launched the OFM
O-dition Audition Tour in various cities across the region. Aspiring voices gathered in Bloemfontein, Kimberley, Vanderbijlpark, Potchefstroom, Klerksdorp, Bethlehem, Welkom and Upington between 26 January and 16 February 2023 for a chance to win an exclusive presenter contract with us. The auditions took place from 11:00 to 18:00 each day, allowing individuals to showcase their abilities and passion for the radio industry.
