Aimmune Therapeutics, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company developing a therapeutic approach, including the development of product candidates, for the treatment of peanut and other food allergies. The Company's therapeutic approach, Characterized Oral Desensitization Immunotherapy (CODIT), is a system designed to desensitize patients to food allergens. PALFORZIA is its internally developed product utilizing CODIT. PALFORZIA is an oral immunotherapy indicated for the mitigation of allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, that occurs with accidental exposure to peanut. PALFORZIA is to be used in conjunction with a peanut-avoidant diet.
