Airgain Announces AirgainConnect Fleet: an Innovative Roof-Mounted 5G Vehicle Gateway

SAN DIEGO - Airgain, Inc. (NASDAQ: AIRG), a leading provider of wireless connectivity solutions that creates and delivers embedded components, external antennas, and integrated systems across the globe, today announced the launch of AirgainConnect Fleet, its second generation AirgainConnect device, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
AirgainConnect Fleet will be the industry's first low profile, roof-mounted 5G vehicle gateway, combining the latest 5G NR modem and a Wi-Fi 6 router all in one covert form factor. At only two inches tall, this low-profile 5G gateway provides flexibility across multiple vertical markets, offering wide area cellular and local area Wi-Fi connectivity across public safety, transportation, public, and private vehicle fleets.
AirgainConnect Fleet, also known as AC-Fleet, is the evolution of Airgain's flagship vehicle connectivity line. AC-Fleet not only offers significant innovation in wireless systems design to achieve its performance and compact size, but also uses eSIM technology to enable carrier flexibility and multi-carrier connectivity. It is designed for rugged outdoor environmental use, with its completely sealed enclosure and IP67 and IP69K rating. Furthermore, AC-Fleet is easy to install, with fewer cables to run and simple setup, configuration, and maintenance due to its streamlined software and remote cloud management.
