Its primary business activity is the origination of one- to four-family real estate loans. It also originates multifamily and commercial real estate, home equity and consumer loans. The Bank also invests in securities, primarily the United States government-sponsored enterprises and agency mortgage-backed securities. The Bank offers insurance and investment products and services on a limited basis.
